In the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S), you meet the Golden Trader. But what does she actually sell and where can you find her?
Who is the Golden Trader? Adhazabi Aba-daro, also known as the “Golden Trader” or simply “the Golden”, is an NPC who works a bit like Xur from Destiny 2.
The Khajiit trader offers different items for you to buy every weekend. Since her inventory changes, you should always be well-informed about what she has on offer. Some of the items are only available for a limited time.

Why is it important to buy the items right away? Some of the items may not appear again for a very long time. It can happen that you have to wait up to a year to be able to buy certain items from the Golden again.
If you miss an item, it could really annoy you.
When does she appear? The Golden Trader sets up her stand on Friday night to Saturday at 1:00 AM and disappears again on Monday at 1:00 PM. During this time, you can shop with her.
Where can you find the Golden? The NPC appears at the following locations in the Cyrodiil area. You must join a PvP campaign. The Golden appears at different locations for members of the individual alliances:
- Aldmeri Dominion – Western gate to Elsweyr
- Daggerfall Covenant – Northern gate to High Rock
- Ebonheart Pact – Southern gate to Morrowind
You can already recognize the Golden from a distance, as a golden glow surrounds the NPC.
What items can you buy? As mentioned, the inventory changes from week to week. On the weekend of March 20 and 21, 2021, for example, the trader sold:
- The Ring of Flame Blossom
- The Shoulder Pieces of Grothdarr
- The Ring of the Outcast
- and a few other items
There are always four jewelry items of legendary quality, two of which come from oaths (repeatable quests) and two from specific locations. Also included are two monster sets, which can consist of head or shoulder parts.
Especially exciting is that the Golden also offers items that you can otherwise only obtain from DLCs or certain events.
So it’s worth visiting the Golden Trader in ESO when she appears on the weekend.
