In the livestream on September 30, 2022, the new DLC Firesong for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online was presented. Here on MeinMMO, you can find everything about the new content of Firesong and Update 36.
When will Firesong be released? The release of the new area DLC is scheduled for November 1 on PC/Mac and Stadia. For PlayStation and Xbox, it will be released on November 15.
Firesong continues the questline from High Isle and completes the narrative “Legacy of the Bretons“, making it the last DLC for 2022.
In Firesong, you can explore the island of Galen and Y’ffelon. They belong to the Systren archipelago and are located north of High Isle. You will encounter 3 different biomes in the new area.
The prologue quest “The Druid King’s Respite” for Firesong is already available on the live servers. You can find it in the Crown Store under Quests – Prologues. For completing the quest, you will receive an emote as a reward.

You will meet familiar faces in Firesong
You can look forward to familiar faces from Ascending Tide, Summersend, and the Thieves Guild.
In ESO, you will soon be able to pet cute animals
In the new area, you can now pet animals. For the achievement “Adventure’s Best Friends”, you need to pet several four-legged friends.
These changes affect all players
Regardless of the new DLC, the base game will receive some new features or changes with Update 36. These will affect all players, whether they own the DLC or not. Here’s an overview for you:
- Chinese language support
- New system for target markers, allowing you to tag allies, enemies, and yourself with a symbol
- Hide companions in cities
- Arsenal tables in PvP zones (Cyrodiil & Imperial City)
- New scaling for the Emperor in Cyrodiil. This scales with the number of keeps owned by the alliance
- Furnishing list for visited homes
- Text-to-speech integration in chat
