Escape from Tarkov shows the third trailer for the new map “Streets from Tarkov” and gives a first impression of how battles in the city center could unfold. It features brutal street battles, a nasty NPC squad with a military vehicle, and destructible walls.
What’s going on? At the Summer Games Fest, there were over 30 announcements for new games or fresh content for older hits, and the hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov was among them. The “Streets of Tarkov Teaser #3 – Battle of Concordia” was showcased.

Trailer shows the Concordia Complex in the “Streets of Tarkov”
What does the trailer show? For the first time, there are images of the new map “Streets of Tarkov”, showing battles in the jungle of the city. The map was announced over 11 months ago, and earlier teasers only featured a solitary warrior showcasing the areas of the map.
The new trailer shows a lot of action and aims to convey how battles unfold in the street canyons. The trailer focuses on the Concordia residential complex – a business-class complex consisting of 2 buildings with 149 parking spaces and enclosed green areas in the backyard.
The areas within the Concordia buildings are cramped and dark, while the areas around them are more spacious and open. There are many rooms with windows in the buildings from which the outside areas can be targeted.
New weapons are not seen, but there are still two strong highlights in the trailer:
- A destructible wall for tactical breakthroughs
- A group of NPCs on a military vehicle
For the first time, Tarkov shows destructible environments and allows you to destroy at least one wall in the Concordia complex. Whether you need certain items for this or if a regular grenade will suffice for the breakthrough remains to be seen.
Also exciting is the end of the trailer. A “Bronetransportjor” (BTR) – a Russian military vehicle – is shown. The armored vehicle brings NPCs to the combat zone and could be a hint at a new Scav boss who wants to stir up the area with his squad. No more information is available – the trailer ends shortly after the BTR comes to a stop.
Streets will be the most ambitious new map so far
When is the new map coming? There is no release date for the new map “Streets of Tarkov” yet. The map is expected to come with update 0.13. The EFT YouTuber “Pestily” stated that he has already asked the developers when the map might come but received no concrete answer. Pestily estimates the release at the earliest in December 2021 (via YouTube).
