How do I get to the DLC? To access the DLC of Elden Ring, you first need to defeat two bosses:
- Starscourge Radahn
- Mohg, Lord of Blood
Once you’ve defeated both, return to Mohgwyn’s Palace and visit the decaying cocoon of Miquella. Next to it, you will also meet a new NPC: Leda. She will provide you with some new information snippets about the DLC.
After your chat, all you need to do is interact with Miquella’s withered arm, and you will be instantly teleported to the new realm of the Shadowlands. Now we will show you where and how to best defeat Radahn and Mohg.
Finding and defeating Radahn
Where do I find Radahn? To find Radahn, you must visit Castle Redmane in Caelid. Once you reach the Site of Grace “Impassable Great Bridge”, use the teleporter on the left side (see Image 1).
You will be teleported inside the castle. Run north and speak with Knight Jerren to start the feast. After hearing the speech, you can continue marching north to take the elevator.
Now you can take another portal to reach Radahn’s battlefield.
How do I best defeat Radahn? Radahn can be easily defeated if you carry weapons with bleeding damage and summon fighters in the arena. If your companions are defeated, you don’t have to worry, as their summon signs will reappear at the ghostly banners.
Finding and defeating Mohg
Where do I find Mohg? There are two ways to find Mohg:
- You complete the quest for Varré the Field Surgeon until he gives you the item “Medallion of the Pureblood Knight”.
- Use the item to teleport yourself to the area of the Blood Prince.
- Look for a bloody portal in the Sanctified Snowfield northeast of the ruins of Yelough Anix.
- Defeat the bloodhound that haunts you as an intruder to activate the portal.
Once you’ve entered his realm, you can use our map to find the way to his palace.
How do I best defeat Mohg? Mohg is a tough guy, but there are various builds to defeat him. As a mage, you can either use your Comet of Azur or rely on bleeding damage. But don’t forget one of the most important potions, as it counters one of his most unfair attacks.
