In Elden Ring, players are already starting to build their builds for the upcoming DLC release “Shadow of the Erdtree.” However, one player did not want to specialize and has thus created the perfect build. We will show you what this looks like and why it is perfect.
What kind of build is this? The X-user PatStaresAt (via x.com) revealed his build on the platform of the same name. He wants to be able to use all new things in the upcoming DLC at the same time – meaning weapons, as well as summons and spells.
To achieve this, he has leveled his character to level 248. He has allocated 40 points each to strength, mind, and endurance. Strength, dexterity, faith, and arcane have been raised to 50 points. Only wisdom has been left at 7.
Looking at this build, one understands the player’s intention: PatStaresAt wants to reach the soft and hard caps of each attribute to be able to use every new item. The problem, however, is that his build is not yet perfect. This is also noted by X-user dangitjm (via x.com). He has built a truly perfect build, but it will be very expensive if you want to recreate it.
The highest necessary attribute levels of all items
What does the build look like? To build the perfect build and test all new weapons, players need to consider the attribute levels. In Elden Ring, there are many weapons, summons, and spells that require a certain attribute level to be used effectively.
X-user dangitjm has thus built a build by selecting the highest attribute levels of all items from the base game and achieving these with his character. Here is what the build looks like:
- Level 301
- Strength: 60
- Mind: 35
- Endurance: 30
- Power: 60
- Dexterity: 48
- Wisdom: 70
- Faith: 50
- Arcane: 27
Strength, mind, and endurance are secondary and not relevant for wielding all items and weapons. For this reason, the user has oriented himself towards the soft and hard caps of the attributes. With this build, you should be able to wield and test all items from the base game – this should be enough for the start of the DLC.
According to him, once players have found their suitable items, they can go to Rennala and reset their attributes to increase strength, mind, and endurance and create a more effective build for combat.
How expensive is the build? We have run the build through a build calculator to see how expensive it would be if one were to actually build it. According to eip.gg, you need 73,805,511 runes with the hero class to reach level 301. That is a massive amount, but there is a way to farm so much quickly.
How do I best farm runes? It is important to first reach NG+7 before you start farming runes. There you will get the maximum possible number of runes from defeated enemies. Now head to the grace point “Palace Avenue” near the Mohgwyn Dynasty. It is best to equip the sword “Holy Relic Sword” and use the ability “Golden Wave.” The holy shockwave should destroy every enemy in front of you with one or two hits. Repeat this until you reach your desired level.
Note that this is not the “perfect build” that you absolutely need for the DLC. Use what you enjoy. Only then will the DLC be a relaxing journey.
