With update 1.01.3, Elden Ring Nightreign introduced new features into the game and a currency that couldn’t be more mysterious: the Sovereign Sigils. Where you can find them and what they are good for, you’ll find out here.
Where can I find Sovereign Sigils? These sigils are a reward for defeating a Nightlord in his new “Eternal Darkness Sovereign Form.” This form was introduced with update 1.01.3 and aims to challenge players for whom Nightreign was not difficult enough yet.
The first boss that appears in his Eternal Darkness Sovereign Form is Adel, the monster with the gaping maw, who is allergic to poison and has to vomit after being poisoned. He will remain until June 26.
Then comes Fulghor, the stormy knight, and finally Gnoster, the insect duo. The bosses are supposed to rotate weekly so that a new challenge awaits you every week. But after defeating a boss, what do you do with the new currency? We will show you!
What can I do with Sovereign Sigils? Once you’ve defeated a boss in his Eternal Darkness Sovereign Form for the first time, a new shop is opened in the Round Table: the Collector Signboard. This shop offers various ways to spend your hard-earned currency. You can:
- Buy relics, skins, vessels for your rituals, and echoes of the bosses
- Influence the Shifting Earths and select the event that you still need
- Restore the appearance of the Round Table when everything was not so dark
Unfortunately, we have to disappoint you regarding the skins, they are the same skins that we have listed in our skin list – there are no new ones for you to collect yet.
The most interesting feature is the influence on the Shifting Earths, as many players faced issues reactivating one of these events. However, with the new shop, you can activate any event that you still need for your trophies.
Changing the Round Table is just a cosmetic feature that is particularly interesting for those who want a happier environment. The Round Table can be quite gloomy in the long run if it has changed.
That was all the information about the Sovereign Sigils that you can now get from the new bosses. Have you already been able to defeat Adel in his new form, and if so, how long did it take you?
