In Elden Ring there are up to 70 spells that you can find, but not all of them are worth it. That’s why we show you all examples in our Tier List and rank them from the best to the worst spells.
What are spells? In Elden Ring, there are two forms of magic, one of which is called “spells.” Spells are more offensive compared to summons and usually equip you with magical projectiles or melee attacks.
In total, there are up to 70 spells in the Lands Between, but not all of them are worth it in a powerful wizard build. To know which are the best spells, we list the best examples in our Tier List.

How is the list structured? Our MeinMMO author Christos Tsogos has collected, tested all spells, and compared them with the opinions of the community. All spells have then been classified into their respective tiers S – D.
For our ranking, we have used the tiers S (the best) to D (niche spell) to classify the magic into their respective power classes. Now let’s get to the list:

Keep this in mind: Whether your favorite spell is in the highest ranking or not doesn’t matter. The list is only meant to know which spells are the best. So if your spell is at tier C or D and you enjoy using it in your build, you shouldn’t dismiss it. Play with what you enjoy.
