For a strong team in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, you need coins. Here you will find tips for trading to earn coins on the transfer market.
This is the transfer market in EA FC 25: As in previous years, almost everything can be offered on the transfer market. You will find:
- Player cards
- Manager cards, which are particularly important in FC 25
- Chemistry Styles to boost your players’ stats
- Cosmetics for club and stadium – such as jerseys, goal songs, and more
An important aspect of the transfer market in FC 25 is that trading is only done with coins earned in-game. The real money currency “FC Points” cannot be used to purchase items on the transfer market.
The main goal of trading in FC 25 is to acquire items at a low price and then sell them for a profit. Smart trading on the transfer market can help you accumulate more coins.
You can then use these coins to improve your team strategically – all without spending real money.
Because this should always be considered in Ultimate Team: Buying packs is usually not worth it.
You should keep in mind when trading: The transfer market in EA FC 25 is dynamic and constantly changing. A player who cost 50,000 coins yesterday may suddenly be worth half that or double the next day.
Prices can fluctuate wildly, and what works once may not work the same way next time.
It is important to keep a close eye on the transfer market and then decide whether a trading method might work at that moment. Here are some tips and methods you can try.
Account for the “Transfer Fee” when trading
What is this fee? The transfer fee, often referred to as “EA Tax,” deducts 5% from every sale price you achieve on the transfer market. This rule applies to all transactions on the market.
For example, if you sell a player for 10,000 coins, you will only receive 9,500 coins.
It becomes problematic when you buy a player ten times for 9,700 coins and then sell him ten times for 10,000 coins. Instead of making a profit of 3,000 coins, you incur a loss of 2,000 coins.
That’s why you should always account for the 5% transfer fee before deciding how much to pay for players you want to sell later.
Choose the right time for meta players
What should be considered? EA FC 25 has just started, and many player cards are steadily increasing in value.
This is partly due to the fact that new players are now just getting the necessary coins to pay high prices on the transfer market. That’s why meta players are rising shortly after the FC 25 release.
It is possible that many cards will continue to rise at least until the first Weekend League – as good players want to build powerful teams. So investing in such players can be worthwhile.
Outside of the “starting phase,” Thursday morning has established itself as a time when there is a chance for cheap cards. Many players collect their Division Rivals rewards then. These are quickly and cheaply sold – and that’s your opportunity.
Later in the day, heading into Friday, cards can rise again as players start working on their Weekend League teams. If you bought interesting cards here, you have a chance for a profit.
Pay attention to which evolutions are currently popular
In EA FC 24, the evolutions feature was introduced, which has made its way into FC 25. With evolutions, you can improve your cards by completing certain tasks. But the feature can also be used to make some coins.
What to consider: New evolutions with new requirements regularly appear in Ultimate Team. If you notice this, you should act quickly. Check out futbin and see which cards are particularly popular for the respective evolutions. You can see this directly on the homepage.
You should then look for these cards at a low price on the transfer market and sell them for a higher price. Ideally, when the new evolution gains popularity and more players want to use these cards.
Don’t just focus on players – especially at the start of EA FC 25
Which items are worth it? When you want to earn coins on the transfer market, you often first think of players you can sell for many coins at once.
But it is also worth keeping an eye on cosmetics, chemistry styles, and manager cards. These items are often overlooked as “pack fillers,” especially when they come from Division Rivals rewards, and can be sold quickly for cash.
Especially at the beginning of FC 25, when players are still working on their teams, choosing jerseys for their favorite clubs, or looking for a strong manager, such items can surprisingly yield high coin profits!
Bronze Pack Method – BPM
What is the Bronze Pack Method? The “BPM” (Bronze Pack Method) is one of the classic trading strategies in FUT. The method is based on buying a premium bronze pack for 750 coins in the FUT store and then selling all the items contained in it.
The basic idea: The items in the pack are usually worth more than the pack itself – even though the profit is often small.

You buy the premium bronze pack and list all its contents on the transfer list. It is important to check the value of each individual player, as some bronze cards can be surprisingly valuable, especially due to SBCs or specific tasks.
Sometimes you sell a player for over 1,000 coins and immediately make a decent profit. So, be careful not to offer your cards too cheaply.
This method usually generates only small amounts and requires patience, but is considered relatively risk-free and is especially popular at the start of a new FC title.
However, be careful not to overload your transfer list with cards that simply cannot be sold. If a card doesn’t even sell for 200 coins, it’s advisable to take it off the list.
This technique usually doesn’t work with gold and silver packs because the pack prices are often higher than the potential return. The chance of pulling a really valuable player in these packs is quite low.
Pay attention to SBCs and tasks
Why are these elements important? In Ultimate Team, it can be worthwhile to hold cards in stock and not sell them immediately but wait for the right moment. This is where SBCs and tasks come into play.
Players often target cards with specific requirements to complete SBCs or tasks.
Some SBCs require, for example, TOTW cards. If you have some that are currently not fetching a good price, it might pay off to keep them until a suitable time.
Similarly, it can happen that a specific task set suddenly requires a multitude of second league players or players from rare nations. Cards that normally have little value can suddenly gain substantial value due to this.
Therefore, it’s worth keeping an eye on the market and selling your cards at the right moment.
Use portals like futbin to track prices
What does futbin help with? On futbin, you can accurately track current player prices, also to recognize trends. Players on the “Popular” main page currently fall into the category of players from the last tip.
Such sites provide much more insight into current prices than searching the transfer market itself.
In addition to these methods, there are many other strategies that can earn coins on the transfer market. Which ones do you use for trading? Do you have any additional tips?
