What kind of hero is this? Claudio Marchisio usually has an 87-rated card in Ultimate Team. The Italian is especially valued for his versatility in the midfield. He has strong passing, very good dribbling, and solid defensive work.
Moreover, he fits as a hero card into any team and gives all Italians on your squad one chemistry point for nationality, while all players from Serie A even get two chemistry points for the league.
At this point in FC 25, his base hero card is somewhat outdated. While he has stats that consistently break the 80 mark, with only 5 playstyles and no PlayStyle+, he lags behind newer cards.
However, thanks to two different upgrades, he is again really strong and interesting in Ultimate Team.
How do I get Marchisio with upgrades? For the FUT Birthday in FC 25 (on the left in the image), Marchisio received a 92-rated card with strong upgrades. His already very good stats were boosted further, and he got 4 new playstyles, including 2 golden playstyles that elevate his passing ability to a higher level.
Additionally, in the evolutions, the EVO “Strong Engine” appeared. The evolution is intended for central midfielders with an overall rating of 89 and other requirements. The prerequisites and upgrades make Marchisio a suitable candidate for the EVO (on the right in the image).

As you can see, there are only minimal differences in the respective comparison points, yet you can get one of the versions if you hurry now, for almost 200,000 coins cheaper.
With a cheap upgrade, you save 200,000 coins only today
Why is the cheap upgrade only available today? The EVO “Strong Engine” ends on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM. After that, you will have no chance of acquiring the strong upgrades from the EVO.
If you have activated Marchisio for the EVO, you have one more week to complete the tasks for the respective level.
Why is Marchisio from the EVO much cheaper? For Marchisio’s EVO card, you need to spend around 90,000 coins. The price consists of the purchase price for the base hero card (approximately 30,000 coins) and the costs for the EVO “Strong Engine” (60,000 coins).
For Marchisio’s FUT Birthday card, on the other hand, you have to spend around 285,000 coins on the transfer market. Although this version of Marchisio is already much cheaper than at his release – as the price was approximately 840,000 coins according to Futbin – it still costs significantly more than the affordable EVO variant, which is almost identical.
