Diablo 4 offers its players four different difficulty levels, each harder than the last. The game aims to end your character as quickly as possible – but not every gamer can handle that.
Why did the player smash his office? On Reddit, user “Sufficient-Cash8328” writes that his friend switched to World Tier 4 in Diablo 4. That’s the highest difficulty level in the game.
In the post, the user also shows how things progressed for the player and what effects the increase in difficulty had. To do this, Sufficient-Cash8328 shared a photo of the player’s office/gaming room.
The photo shows a desk made of particleboard, with one corner broken off. The post implies that the player lost composure after his character’s death and hit the table, resulting in a critical hit to it.
In a comment, the poster compared his friend to Hulk and added as an explanation for the damage that he is about 6’4″ tall and weighs about 300 pounds (approximately 136 kg). Now he has a new desk made from a sturdier material than particleboard (via Reddit).
What are the world tiers? You can choose between a total of 4 world tiers and determine how big your challenge should be.
World tiers 1 and 2 are already unlocked at the beginning of the game. Newcomers are advised to start with World Tier 1. You unlock world tiers 3 and 4 during gameplay, with 4 being the hardest level of the game, providing a decent boost to experience points, the gold received, and there is also better and special loot.
In addition to the world tiers, there are also two modes: Softcore and Hardcore. If you have a Softcore character, you can respawn normally when your character dies. However, if you play Hardcore, you lose your progress and must start from scratch. The character’s death is permanent.
And then there are players who believe they are playing Hardcore, while they have been playing on a Softcore character for days:
