The Diablo 3 players are also despairing in 2019 about the bug surrounding Wirt’s leg. In the event “Darkness in Tristram”, the error returns again.
What happened? Last year, a bug in the event “The Darkness in Tristram” drove players crazy. You could not obtain Wirt’s leg as a legendary item at the blacksmith, but only as a magical item.
This year, players are again complaining about the problem with Wirt’s leg during the same event. Although this error is known, Blizzard has not yet commented on the incidents.
Without Wirt’s leg, there is no Cow Pet
What is the problem with the bug? To get the Cow Pet, you need Wirt’s leg as a legendary item.
Only when you disassemble the legendary leg, do you get the Star Map. If you disassemble the magical leg, you do not get this map. However, you need the Star Map to obtain the Cow Pet.
The bug is known: Last year’s “Darkness in Tristram” event also had this bug. However, Blizzard quickly found a remedy and fixed the bug after a few days. Afterwards, you could only obtain Wirt’s leg as a legendary item.
What happens in 2019? It is interesting to see that the same error reappears even a year later and Blizzard has not definitively resolved this bug.
Has Blizzard reacted? The problem has already been known since last year. So one can assume that Blizzard already has the bug fix ready. However, when they will fix this error is not known. The developers have not commented so far.
