Rank 4 is occupied by the exotic auto rifle Zhalo Supercell. This was introduced in Year 2 with “The Taken King” and quickly became one of the most sought-after weapons overall. The reason: It is the only primary weapon with Arc damage that can reach the highest light level.
This makes it an indispensable weapon in Year 3 for the Nightfall strike or for other PvE activities where Arc damage is required. It belongs in every Guardian’s inventory.
In terms of archetype, it belongs to rapid-fire auto rifles with an impact of 8 – only one tier of “rapid-fire” remains. Otherwise, the stats are unremarkable:
The Zhalo Supercell remains a powerful PvE weapon, especially when facing many adds. With the perk “Zhalo Supercell”, it chains enemies together with lightning and thus blazes its way through hordes of enemies.
With the update 2.5.0.2, especially the slow-firing auto rifles will be buffed, to which the Zhalo does not belong. However, headshots will deal slightly more damage with all auto rifles from now on.
