In Destiny 2, Guardians can unlock their new ultimate “Prismatic” or “Prisma” with “The Final Shape”. However, in order to enable many build options, players need all the fragments of Prisma. Therefore, we will show you all locations and how to unlock them.
What are Prisma Fragments? As with any ultimate in Destiny 2, you can customize your build with the so-called fragments. Fragments give you bonuses for stats and effects that can completely change your playstyle. Therefore, to give your build the finishing touch, it is important to have unlocked all fragments.
The new Prisma class for Guardians also has many fragments, and you have to earn 15 of them first. Here you will find out how to unlock them all. We list all unlockable fragments under their names. With our directory, you can quickly jump to the fragment you are currently looking for:
Facet of Valor
Location: You will find it in the mission “Ascend” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
Climb the mountain and use the Taken Orbs to open the barriers of darkness. During your ascent, you will discover a snow-covered plane wreck. Now keep to the right and jump onto the lower part of the wreck. You will find the fragment in a golden chest in the wreckage.
Facet of Blessing
Location: You will find it in the mission “Dissension” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
Follow the mission until you have opened the door to the temple. The chest cannot be missed.
Facet of Devotion
Location: You will find it in the mission “Dissension” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
Defeat the Scorn boss in the arena and start the phase where you must escape. Now run onto the floating stairs and follow the middle path. Once you reach the end, the next chest is located on the right side of your path in a corner.
Facet of Balance
Location: You will find it in the mission “Iconoclasm” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
To do this, defeat the Tormentor at the beginning of the mission. Once you’ve survived the phase, the chest will spawn. It cannot be missed.
Facet of Sacrifice
Location: You will find it in the mission “Iconoclasm” in the campaign of “The Final Shape”.
After defeating the Ogre and climbing to the large structure of the Witness, you will find yourself in front of a disassembled statue of a war beast. Now keep to the left and go into the dark room.
In this room, there is a small niche where you can jump out. The niche is marked with a small lamp.
Follow the niche until you reach a hidden room. In it is the fragment.
Facet of Grace
Location: You will find it in a chest behind the landing zone “The Lost City” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it.
You need to get to the roofs behind the old tower from Destiny 1, where you came from in your first campaign mission. Look around for three Scorn enemies. You need to defeat these Omen to summon the Prophesied.
Then defeat the Prophesied in the middle of the area to obtain the key “Exalted Prisma Key.” Now go left from the overgrown Guardian statue and stick to this path – you will eventually recognize the symbol of a chest. There you can use your new key to open the chest.
Facet of Remedy
Location: You will find it in a chest behind the landing zone “The Lost City” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it.
For this chest, you need to collect four lost ghosts. These are located behind the landing zone “The Lost City.” Follow the path from where you came through your first mission and look for the bazaar. You will find the first ghost near a red pole next to a large tree.
The second ghost is located outside the bazaar near an abyss. Use the stairs in front of the abyss to go one floor down. The ghost is next to the boxes of the New Monarchy.
You will find the third ghost after crossing the abyss and taking the path through the wall. Continue until you have exited the wall. Directly above the doorway of the wall, you will find the ghost on the metal structure.
You will find the last ghost further towards the coast on the machine of the Speaker. It is on the mechanism.
Once you have collected all of them, you just need to go to the coast and defeat enemies. Once you have defeated them all, you will receive the key “Overgrown Prisma Key” which you can redeem right nearby at your chest.
Facet of Justice
Location: You will find it in a chest after the landing zone “The Outcrop” in “The Refraction” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it.
To acquire this fragment, you need to complete a puzzle with solar crystals and runes in “The Refraction”. The puzzle can be completed solo, but to save time, it is better to do it in a duo.
The puzzle is simple: Behind the chest are three chained runes. You must now activate these. To activate them, one must go up to the higher floor and place three solar crystals into three different basins. However, only the second player, who is on the lower floor, knows which basin carries the correct symbol. One must therefore announce while the other places the crystals.
Once you have broken all three seals, you must defeat many enemies and bosses. After the fight, you will receive the key “Lightbreaker Prisma Key.” With this, you can open the chest.
Facet of Domination
Location: You will find it in a chest before the landing zone “The Dead End” in “The Rift” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it.
Make your way into the wall until you find a locked golden chest. To open it, you must outfit machines with elemental charges in a secret room to the left of the chest.
To free the machines from ice, you must shoot them with a scorch weapon. Once they are thawed, they need to be charged. To do this, you must find elemental charges at various places and deposit them into the machines. Each element offers a different type of energy amount:
- Arc: 2 energy
- Solar: 3 energy
- Void: 4 energy
The energy charges are scattered around the wall and wrapped in ice clumps. You also need to shoot these with your scorch weapon. Once you have charged the machines, a Scorn boss will spawn again. Defeat it, and you will receive the key “Split Prisma Key” and can open the chest.
Facet of Resistance
Location: You will find it in a chest after the landing zone “The Dead End” in “The Crossing” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it.
Follow the path through the dead end to the Witness’s castle until you reach the point where a Guardian statue is in the center of the area being speared. Now go left into a cave by a magenta-colored stone.
In this cave, you must now shoot Kruxes of Darkness to be protected from the darkness. Now you go into the cave and activate the mechanism. You must now eliminate the enemies “Soul of Suffering,” but to do so, you must destroy the “Eyes of Suffering” so that the souls lose their shield.
Once you’ve done this three times, a boss will appear. Defeat the boss, receive the key “Transcendent Prisma Key,” and open the chest in front of you.
Facet of Awakening
Location: You will find it in a chest after the landing zone “The Outcrop” in “The Refraction” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it. You also need the key “Memory: Refraction,” which you get from the cyst missions of Mica-10. The chest is located on a large tree.
Facet of Dominance
Location: You will find it in a chest after the landing zone “The Bloom” in “The Seclusion” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it. You also need the key “Memory: The Seclusion of Light,” which you get from the cyst missions of Mica-10. The chest is located near a waterfall in the area where Zavala’s hut is also located.
Facet of Generosity
Location: You will find it in a chest in the landing zone “The Bloom” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it. You also need the key “Memory: Blooming Light,” which you get from the cyst missions of Mica-10. You will find the chest in the roots of the Silverwing tree.
Facet of Honor
Location: You will find it in a chest in front of the landing zone “The Dead End” in “The Rift” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it. You also need the key “Memory: Rift Darkness,” which you get from the darkness chests. The chest is located at the top of the mountain on the iced wall on a platform.
Facet of Solitude
Location: You will find it in a chest in the landing zone “The Dead End” – unlock the Bleached Heart as a patrol zone to access it. You also need the key “Memory: Hopeless Darkness,” which you get from the darkness chests. The chest is at the end of the area on the left side on a ledge.
Do I also have to collect the fragments on my other characters? No. All fragments you have unlocked on your main character are also unlocked on your second and third characters. You do not need to search for them again.
