Divinity
What is Divinity? Divinity is an Arc Trace Rifle. Like its counterparts Coldheart, Prometheus Lens, and Wave Splitter, this weapon requires special ammunition and belongs in the special slot.
What makes the trace rifle so special? The Vex weapon creates a kind of weakening field under continuous fire. Enemies within it receive a proud 25% extra damage from all sources. Additionally, you do not need to land headshots to deal critical damage. The entire “energy cage” counts as a crit zone.
Currently, Divinity breaks all the rules and can be stacked with other buffs and debuffs. Bungie wants to change that soon, as this was apparently not intended. As a compensation, the debuff will be increased to 30%. In principle, you have a kind of tractor cannon for all ranges in the special slot.
In addition to the useful teamplay aspects – especially in the new Shadowkeep raid – Divinity can intrinsically “interrupt unstoppable champions.” This effect is otherwise achieved through mods from the seasonal artifact.
How to get Divinity: In order to hold the wondrous weapon in your hands, a long questline must be completed. Among other things, you need to venture into the new Shadowkeep raid “Garden of Salvation” and solve tricky puzzles as a team.
