In Crimson Desert, fashion is a big topic. Armors and fabrics can be dyed in various colors, but in order to do that, you need to mix different ingredients. The selection is crucial, so we show you how to get colors even without knowing the recipes.
How can I mix colors? To mix colors in Crimson Desert, you need a cauldron, which unfortunately is not so easy to find in Pywel. You can find one in Hernand at the Celeste house.
Another method is to talk to the furniture seller at the Timberham Sawmill and buy a cauldron from him – note that this purchase is very expensive, but it may be worth it in the future. Then place the cauldron in your camp to always have access to it.
Do I need recipes for crafting? Not necessarily. Recipes make it easier for you to craft various items as they show you in the crafting menu which ingredients are the right ones. But you can also craft various items without recipes using the “Improvising” button.
As long as you know in advance which ingredient combination is the right one, you can mix everything together and succeed even without a recipe. However, if you make a mistake, instead of your color or potion, you will end up with a mysterious brew.
