Developer Pearl Abyss has released a new update for Crimson Desert. Patch 1.01.01 from March 30, 2026, only improves some known issues that could affect your gaming experience. Here you can find the patch notes.
What does Patch 1.01.00 bring for Crimson Desert? The update from March 30, 2026, includes the following patch notes:
- A problem has been fixed where the button to use the amulets of the five new mounts was incorrectly displayed for Damiane and Oongka.
- A problem has been fixed where the black star did not disappear after death but remained in the air.
- A problem has been fixed where the A.T.A.G. was not destroyed even when its health reached 0.
- A problem has been fixed where the interface for selecting a refinement target was not available under certain conditions.
- A problem has been fixed where holding the button to follow NPCs during some quests led to unusual horse movements.
- A problem has been fixed where sprinting on the white bear could not be used.
- A problem has been fixed where the controls during the “Examine” interaction with the constellation helmet were unresponsive.
- A problem has been fixed where equipment refinement was not possible with Damiane and Oongka.
Note that the patch is not yet live on all platforms (Source: crimsondesert.pearlabyss.com). This has already been rolled out on Steam and PlayStation, while Xbox, Steam (Mac), and the Mac App Store version still have to wait.
The significantly larger update was released on March 29, 2026, and this update was substantial as not only major changes were made to the game, but many new mounts were also added to the game.
