In Conan Exiles you need Insulated Wood if you want to protect yourself well from the cold. How to get it is explained in our guide.
How do you get the wood? By the time you reach the cold climates in the north of Conan Exiles, you will need Insulated Wood. You basically need two materials for that:
- 1 x Dry Wood
- 2 x Resin
Go to your Carpenter’s Workbench with these materials, put them in, and start the production. After 10 seconds, you will receive Insulated Wood that you can further process.
How can you get Dry Wood and Resin? You get Dry Wood by putting regular wood in your Drier. Resin also occurs as a byproduct. Alternatively, you can harvest Resin with a Pickaxe from trees.
How can Insulated Wood be further processed? For all the items you can craft with Insulated Wood, you also need Reinforced Iron, which you can make at the Smithy Workbench. Additionally, it is always advisable to assign suitable NPCs to the workbenches when you need more materials. Make sure they are at least level 2 to maximize efficiency.
