Coldmirror has been one of my absolute favorite people on this planet full of people who are not Coldmirror. In the latest episode of her podcast “Telekaddi,” she finally told me: “Everything is fine … Your crafting-enthusiastic and TV-absorbed inner child can finally breathe easy. The world has become a little better.”
In this episode, Kaddi discusses the crafting series “Art Attack,” which I inhaled as a young Caro like a form of elixir of life. In “Stick and Let Stick,” Coldmirror talks not only about the creation of the series, its content, and the change of times – no. No, something much more important happens.
White crafting glue is no longer a myth. It now exists in Germany. And now I can die happy.
The Legend of White Crafting Glue and Why It Evokes So Many Emotions in Me
White crafting glue was once exactly what many Art Attack fans (like me) and craft-crazy kids (also like me) absolutely revered and at the same time hated. Because it simply did not exist!
In Art Attack, everything was plastered with the glue, and if you wanted to recreate something, it simply wasn’t possible. It was unfair. Life was unfair. Everything was crap.
However, as Beni reports in the conversation, the glue did indeed exist. It was a craft adhesive that was even produced in Germany to be branded with Art Attack for other European countries. However, it did not exist in Germany because the Disney license was too expensive.
“I Had a Garage Full of Crafting Glue”
Beni didn’t see it that way and wanted to take care of it himself. Promptly, he had the garage full of 10,000 bottles of crafting glue, which he then wanted to sell in Toys ‘R’ Us, where there were already many Art Attack products – except for the glue. However, the delivery terms were so complicated that he decided to donate the bottles to the SOS Children’s Villages.
Among them were also limited editions, of which Kaddi (the lucky one) also possesses, comprising 218 out of 1,000 pieces.
Beni, however, confirms that another round was ordered. Although they are no longer limited, hey: There is finally real crafting glue in Germany, just like it was used in Art Attack!

I still enjoy crafting, but today it’s more about assembling and painting miniatures, collaging, or – quite recently – wood carving. However, it fills me with a strange kind of peace when it will ever be said: “Okay, and now it’s your turn! Get your painting and crafting supplies out and get started!” – because then I will be ready!
