One of the biggest innovations in the matches of Call of Duty: Vanguard is the “Combat Pacing”. You can regulate the number of players in a match in 3 stages. MeinMMO wants to know what you think of this feature.
What is Combat Pacing? With this new match option from Call of Duty: Vanguard, you can turn any map into a Shipment experience. The CoD map Shipment stands for a lot of chaos, uninterrupted gunfights, and heaps of experience points for weapons and Battle Pass. This is simply because the map is very small, and even a 5vs5 usually ends in chaos.
With the new Vanguard, you can experience similar scenarios on any map in the game. The “Combat Pacing” allows many more players on maps that were officially intended for 6vs6 fights. The number of players depends on the map and the chosen pacing – Tactical, Assault, or Blitz. A maximum of up to 24vs24 players can fight on one map.
Survey on Combat Pacing – Do you even need this?
The new feature seems to be a game changer for some, while for others it’s nonsense. But what do you think of the new match option?
In the Open Beta of Vanguard, you could already test the different “Combat Speeds” and in week 2, there was even a filter available to input your preferences. However, during the beta, it was uncertain whether you would get your desired pacing. Whether this will also be the case in the full version is currently unknown.
Vanguard received a lot of feedback from both sides during the beta. Many players had fun during the test, but there were also a lot of problems. But does Combat Pacing belong to your experience as well?
We would love to hear your opinion on the new match feature of Vanguard. For me personally, it’s a reason to hype. Leave us a comment and participate in our survey in the article.
