This time you can expect multiple preloads: CoD Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 can both be started through the CoD MW2 client, but they release on different days.
Due to this circumstance and the fact that Modern Warfare 2 allows its pre-order customers to play the story first, there will be multiple preloads.

CoD MW2: Preload on PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, Battle.net, and PC
When does the preload start? Due to the different release stages, there are several dates for the preload. The different time zones also play a role:
- Campaign: Release on October 20 at 7 PM
- Applies to digital pre-orders
- Full game: Release on October 28 between 12 AM and 6 AM
- Preload PlayStation: October 20 between 12 AM and 6 AM
- Preload Xbox: October 19 / 7 PM
- Preload PC: October 26 / 7 PM

All important start times for Modern Warfare 2 at a glance
CoD Modern Warfare 2 start time on October 28: The full release of the game is regionally adjusted, as is the preload for the PlayStation for the complete game.
The developers have also announced the global start times for all platforms. These start in Germany at the earliest on October 28 at 12:00 AM. Here are the images of the times again. Other platforms will have access later:

In addition to the release and preload times, MW2 has also revealed more details about the system requirements for PC. Therefore, we already know roughly how large the game will be:

Preload for Warzone 2.0: The new, free battle royale will be released on November 16 along with Season 1 of Modern Warfare 2. So far, there is no information about the preload or the download.

Possibly the Spec-Ops mode will also be added, which could also be deleted in CoD MW 2019 when you wanted to free up storage space.
