The shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has set some goals for 2019. So far, Infinity Ward has only talked about the campaign. However, the multiplayer part is said to offer interesting features. First screenshots were shown at E3 2019. They announce the return of the cooperative mode “Spec Ops”.
This is the situation: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has already been officially announced and is also a major topic of discussion in the community. So far, the discussion about the game has only revolved around the “single-player part”, the campaign.
Here, Infinity Ward wants to represent the realistic horror of modern warfare with new radical approaches, where civilians play a role and soldiers do not know who is really a combatant and who is just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Here is the first information about the multiplayer: At an event on the sidelines of E3 2019, two screenshots of the multiplayer mode were shown:
- One shows the Juggernaut. The suit is known from “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2”. The soldier is in heavy armor and is aiming with a mini-gun.
- The second image shows a sniper in a wooded area.
What is special about the screens: It is said that both screens are in-game screenshots and indeed look like it, as if Infinity Ward has raised the level of graphics with the new engine.
Co-op mode “Spec Ops” returns
What about the multiplayer? At the moment, there is still little information about the multiplayer.
At E3, they announced the return of the popular “Spec Ops” co-op mode with the Juggernaut. The mode is said to be even more intense than in previous installments.
Prior to the announcement, Activision Blizzard stated that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare should offer a gigantic multiplayer world. So far, we have not seen anything from it.
Apparently, Infinity Ward wants to present the multiplayer mode in detail only when they are really ready.
