The release went like this: In October 2019, CoD Mobile dominated the mobile games charts. It was downloaded over 100 million times in its first week, even overshadowing competitor Fortnite.

How is CoD Mobile doing now? The massive hype from the early days has faded somewhat, but the shooter is still quite popular on mobile.
In June, Sensortower reported that CoD Mobile has reached 250 million downloads. Thus, 150 million downloads were added after the first week.
A suitable chart shows: CoD Mobile is the most successful shooter 265 days after release on smartphones. PUBG had only 236 million downloads at that time and Fortnite even just 78 million downloads.
Financially, things look good as well. They are said to have earned $327 million from players. This is said to be 78% more than PUBG earned back in 2018.

Here’s the content situation: The biggest content changes always happen at the start of a new season. Currently, CoD Mobile has entered season 8, bringing new maps, modes, and weapons.
