Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War usually offers the best players scorestreaks to get even more kills. However, due to a particularly bizarre glitch, the losing team seems to have unexpectedly received a high-end scorestreak and profited from it.
What are scorestreaks? Scorestreaks in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War are special rewards that you earn through kills and other successes in the game. The better you play, the more powerful streaks you can unleash on your opponents.
One of the higher streaks is an attack helicopter that circles over the map and takes out all visible soldiers on the ground with its onboard guns like rabbits!
Glitch grants heli kill and attack helicopter without effort
What happened? The heli is a good means to further dominate a losing team. This also happened when the streamer DiamondRyce had to take a beating in a round of Cold War Multiplayer. His opponents regularly took him out and suddenly it was announced “Enemy helicopter approaching”.
Panicking, Ryce turned around to the heli, only for it to crash down in flames. And Ryce received the points and the medal for it, even though he did nothing.
But it got even weirder. Because instead of the downed heli, suddenly his own attack helicopter appeared, which according to the HUD display was requested by Ryce. Only that the streamer hadn’t called for a heli.
“I am so confused,” the streamer said before he was shot again. In the meantime, the heli was farming kills against the enemy team.
What’s behind this? It seems that Ryce has become a “victim” of a strange glitch. The most likely explanation is that the enemy team redeemed the streak, but due to a mistake, a helicopter was spawned for the other team as well, which somehow eliminated the first and then just continued, decimating the opponents.
