Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone will soon receive a new, major update along with the new Season 2. You can find out what the main changes are and when the update goes live here.
When does Season 2 start? Black Ops 7 and Warzone will receive a new update on February 5, 2026 – Season 2 is set to launch. As usual, you can expect the start of the update in the evening between 6 and 7 PM.
How large will the download be? We can’t say for sure right now. However, our experience suggests a data size of approximately 10–20 GB. Typically, these updates for Call of Duty tend to be larger.
Will there be a preload? That is also not known yet. We will update this part as soon as we know more.
What are the main changes? With Season 2, new content comes to the multiplayer, the zombie mode, and Warzone. This includes new maps, weapons, and modes. Here’s what you can expect:
- 9 multiplayer maps throughout Season 2
- 1 new Warzone map
- 1 new zombies map
- 6 modes
- Events for all three modes (multiplayer, Warzone & zombies)
- 7 new weapons and 6 new attachments
- 50+ new camos to collect
- A new Battle Pass and various bundles for the shop
