Riot Games has banned the first botters and beta buyers in their new shooter Valorant . So if you don’t wait patiently for your access, you will be banned.
This is what Riot says: The official Valorant account writes on Twitter that a lot of botters and beta sellers have been banned. This gives waiting players more space in the beta, as the queues for access are long.
However, Valorant also warns players that purchased beta accesses will be banned. You should really think twice about whether you want to buy such access.
You should rather wait instead of jumping the queue
This is how things are currently with Valorant: The shooter from the makers of League of Legends is extremely popular. Currently, Valorant has entered closed beta. You can only get into the game if you were selected for it beforehand.
The demand is huge, and numerous players are patiently waiting to finally get access to the shooter.
Some dubious businessmen smell quick money here and sell access to the beta on various platforms. This allows you to theoretically push ahead of the long queue and start directly, but this can now be harshly punished.
Is buying the beta access worth it? Riot bans the sellers of the access and thus also the buyers. They even warn you that you could be banned if you start the beta with such an account.
You should rather wait patiently to get your access. Otherwise, it could be that you lose your purchased account and even incur losses.
How popular is Valorant currently? The shooter is currently the most popular game on Twitch. At launch, it had at times well over a million active viewers. Additionally, various streamers have switched to Valorant – even Ninja is excited about the Valorant beta.
However, there has already been a lot of controversy at the start of the beta among streamers. For instance, Twitch streamer Summit1g demands that an agent must be removed because she is simply too strong for Valorant and disrupts the gameplay.
