Borderlands 3 has received a new hotfix. This is meant to prepare you for the new endgame – with improved weapons!
This is the new hotfix: The new hotfix for Borderlands 3 went live overnight from Thursday to Friday. As usual, you need to wait a moment in the main menu until the “Hotfixes Applied” banner appears. Then the update is properly installed.
The hotfix includes several bug fixes, and furthermore, the description texts of some abilities have been adjusted. Most importantly, the hotfix is once again full of weapon buffs, just like last week. These are meant to prepare you for the upcoming Mayhem Mode 2.0 – the times of “Nerflands” seem to be finally over.
10 Legendary Weapons That Are Now Better
These weapons are being improved: Just last week, some weapons were improved, making “The Lob” a new fan favorite. Again this week, legendary weapons are the target of some improvements. They consist of the following guns:
- Crader’s M4-P5: The critical damage is increased by 80% when you are in the air
- Faisor: Increased the number of shotgun projectiles from 6 to 8. Additionally, there is an increase in the reload time of the under-barrel shotgun, as well as an increase in weapon damage.
- Firestorm: Increase in weapon damage
- Hellshock: Increased the projectile count per shot to 2, more weapon damage
- Krakatoa: Increase in weapon damage
- 9-Volt: Increase in weapon damage
- Sickle: Increase in fire rate and damage
- Smart-Gun: Increase in weapon damage and damage of thrown projectiles
- Storm: Increase in weapon damage
- Thunderball Fists: Increase in damage on the first shot and of the thunderball
Make sure to check if you still have one of these weapons lying in your bank. With them, you should be well prepared for the upcoming content.
