Black Desert nerfs the Ghillie Suit and takes care of balance – and quite extensively.
Ghillie Suit – Refund for Buyers
Recently, there was quite a large patch in Black Desert. This has fixed many issues in the game that have long bothered the community. Above all, the Ghillie Suit, the camouflage clothing, has finally been nerfed. In most PvP areas, the player’s name is now displayed as usual again. Anyone who purchased the suit between May 18 and June 14 can contact Support and will receive a refund for the purchase price.
Balance Changes Galore
The core of the update consisted of numerous adjustments to game balance that are now active on the live servers. Almost all classes have undergone extensive changes, and nearly all abilities have been tinkered with to allow for a more balanced game.
The developers want to create a fair foundation here before introducing the Awakening weapons of all classes at a later date. A good balance between all existing classes is an important prerequisite for being able to build upon it later. A complete list of the changes can be found in our sources – but be prepared for several pages of text.
Further changes address how attributes are awarded when leveling up. Previously, there was a certain randomness factor – two players of the same class with the same equipment could have different values. Now these values are fixed at level-up, and the equipment makes the crucial difference.
… and a bit of football
To celebrate the European Championship in Black Desert Online, there’s a special football event for a while. Instead of kicking the round leather itself, it’s primarily about bashing monsters and grabbing the footballs to return them to the children. Because apparently, monsters do not like the European Championship.
