Valkyrie – Into Battle with Spear and Shield
While Black Desert was only released a few weeks ago for us, the game has already gained a lot of traction in Korea. They have started introducing the “Awakening weapons” for a while now. These provide all characters with an alternative playstyle and can be obtained from level 48 through a questline.
The latest addition, arriving today on March 24th on the Korean live servers, is the weapon of the Valkyrie, who strikes her enemies with spear and shield. Contrary to what the divine name might suggest, she also likes to stab at enemies already lying on the ground. You should check it out for yourself.
It’s certainly just a matter of time before the Awakening weapons become available in Europe as well, but Daum has not yet commented on whether they will be released all at once or gradually – at the expense of game balance.
