A new trailer for Borderlands 3 further ignites the fans’ excitement. Bet that it will catch you too?
In just under a month, fans of Borderlands will finally return to the planet Pandora, as Borderlands 3 is set to be released. To build up the hype until release, Gearbox is revealing new details and trailers for the upcoming loot shooter.
The new trailer titled “The Borderlands Are Yours” summarizes everything nicely:
Here’s what to expect: The trailer is basically a compilation of many previous trailers and is naturally accompanied by typical catchy music and fast cuts. It provides a good overall impression of what players can expect in Borderlands 3: Cool villains, absurd humor, and of course plenty of loot.
Apparently, Borderlands 3 also places greater emphasis on narrative depth, as many characters are briefly introduced and shown – most of them, of course, have their quirks. But Borderlands is known for its crazy trailers.
Zer0 appears: Some fans noticed a special detail, as in the trailer at minute 1:27, there is a reunion with an old acquaintance. The Vault Hunter Zer0 (playable in Borderlands 2) approaches Rhys, the current head of the weapon company Atlas, with his sword. Notably, Zer0 is wearing clothing from the weapon manufacturer Maliwan.
It seems that the two have a bone to pick with each other. This could very well be, as they have already crossed paths in Tales From The Borderlands. However, we will likely find out what this is all about only after the release.
