Battlefield 6 is an upcoming first-person shooter from Electronic Arts that features large, modern warfare battles with vehicles, infantry, and destructible environments. When is Battlefield 6 coming out? The release of Battlefield 6 is scheduled for October 10 and will begin at 5:00 PM German time.
There will also be a preload. According to an alert fan, the EA App dates the start of the preload to October 3 at 5:00 PM German time.
On which platforms will Battlefield 6 be released? The new Battlefield will be available for Steam, Epic Games, EA App, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Will the game also be available on Game Pass? Nothing is known about this yet.
Is there an early access? No, there is no early access for the launch of Battlefield 6.
How large is the game? EA states that the data size is 55 GB for minimum requirements and 80 GB for recommended requirements. According to a statement by EA to PC Gamer, this is related to the fact that players can choose which parts of the game they want to install. Depending on what you want to install, the game size varies within these data amounts.
Is there a beta for Battlefield 6? Yes, there was a beta for BF6 with two phases. All dates were announced in the reveal:
- Early Access (for viewers of the stream)
- From August 7 to 8
- First Open Beta
- From August 9 to 10
- Second Open Beta
- From August 14 to 17

Is there crossplay? Yes, at the launch of Battlefield 6, there will be crossplay. You will then be able to play together with friends on other platforms.
With crossplay enabled, EA wants to ensure that players of their own platform stay mostly on their own and that players from the other platform only join as “fillers” when there are not enough participants from their own platform (see x.com)
Can you disable crossplay? Yes, but only console players can benefit from this advantage. Fans on PC will have to deal with crossplay, as the option to turn it off is not available for them.

How many players are in the battles in Battlefield 6? The battles are designed for a maximum of 64 players. This returns the game to its traditional roots after the player count was increased to 128 in Battlefield 2042.
What will matchmaking look like? The automatic selection of teammates is expected to have a kind of “skill-based matchmaking” (SBMM) that additionally depends on the following factors:
- Ping
- The location of the player
- The server availability

How much will Battlefield 6 cost? After the multiplayer reveal, the prices for the shooter were also released. You can expect the following:

- The more expensive Phantom edition is expected to be priced at €99.99 (PC) and €109.99 (console).

Can you destroy almost everything again? Yes, unlike the last predecessors, Battlefield 6 seems to place a greater focus on detailed and realistically destructible environments.
Are the first skins already known? Yes, you can find the first skins from the Phantom edition and the pre-order bonus. They are based on realistic soldiers and differ significantly from the skins that shooter giants like Call of Duty bring to the market.
