For Battleborn, the fun hero MOBA shooter from Gearbox, there are three new PvP maps this week, one for each of the three game modes. Read here what awaits you in the new areas.
Battleborn is struggling with declining player numbers, but that is by no means a reason for the developers at Gearbox not to continue expanding the complex and crazy MOBA shooter. Therefore, three new PvP maps for each of the three game modes of Battleborn are coming this week. The new maps and their features are:
- Snowblind (Capture): This map takes place on the desolate ice moon Bliss, an outpost of the Peacekeepers and the site of the epic battle against Arachnis. This time, however, the objective is to establish and supply a base against the opponent. The highlight of the map: a giant statue of Oscar Mike (or one of his clone buddies).
- Outskirts (Meltdown): The popular Meltdown mode also gets another map, this time on the dark Jennerit planet Tempest. Our good old man and master, Minrec, has built a recycling plant in the slums of the world, and on this map, the towers of the second line and the central mausoleum are particularly effective.
- Monuments (Incursion): This map is located on Ekkunar, the home of the Eldrid faction. In this beautiful map, we fight through the ancient ruins of the old Aztanti civilization to recover their treasures. Players with good jumping or even flying abilities can take a nasty shortcut to the enemy Sentry Bot, so we must always be on our guard!
All these new maps are coming to the game on July 21, 2016 and are free for all owners of Battleborn. What do you think of the new maps? And do you still play Battleborn at all, or is the game already dead and forgotten for you because Overwatch rocks so much more? Let us know and write it in the comments!
