In Baldur’s Gate 3, things get unusually intense when the campfire glows at night. For the right sounds, the studio has brought in an experienced voice actor: Alex Jordan. He now has a clear message for the players: they should think of him when they engage in their role-playing.
Who is this?
- Alex Jordan is an actor and sought-after voice actor for video games: he has voiced Jaro in Final Fantasy XVI, was the voice of Sherlock Holmes, and has been involved in about 20 other games.
- In Baldur’s Gate 3, he now has a special role: he was called into the studio just before the release to make the sounds that occur during romantic and sexual relationships.

This is how he got the role: He says he was asked if he wanted to be involved in Baldur’s Gate 3. He eagerly said yes, who wouldn’t want to, but asked: “Isn’t it a bit close to the release? What role am I supposed to play?”
His contact person at Larian said: “No, no, this is not a role. We are just finishing up the recordings. What we currently need are sexy sounds. Do you want to come in and make the sexy sounds for us?”
Jordan says: “And so I went into the studio. And it was really strange, because I made a lot of sounds like ‘mmm’ and ‘ahh’. And I kissed my hand very often.”

This is his message to players: In a message to the players, he says at the end of the video:
