In ARK: Survival Evolved you will soon be able to go fishing. Fishing is coming as a new feature in the game.
Fishing in ARK – From July, fish will bite well
There is still a lot planned for ARK: Survival Evolved in 2016. Since summer is always the perfect opportunity to cast a fishing rod and catch a fish or two, the dino game is getting such a feature. From July it will be possible to catch fish with a fishing rod instead of diving into the depths of the seas (and being eaten by various water creatures). Instead, you can now sit comfortably on land and wait for a big catch to bite (and be eaten by land creatures).
Furthermore, ARK offers another new feature, allowing players to send messages even outside of the game. So, even if you’re not playing, you can still receive information about important events through your tribe – for example, when someone triggers a trap at the base or when a baby is born. These messages are currently only available on official servers and are transmitted through the forum system of SurviveTheArk (the official game website) when you have linked your account there with Steam.
