The latest patch for ArcheAge brings costumes with attributes and adds some in-game events that should keep players busy over the next month.

The February update of ArcheAge was certainly not the biggest one ever, but it has introduced some changes to the MMORPG that players can benefit from now. The biggest innovation (with the wildest controversy in the forum) is the introduction of attribute points on costumes. From now on, decorative outfits are … well … no longer just decorative. A costume can be upgraded up to 4 times, with differences depending on the type of costume – a melee costume will always retain melee values. However, this does not have to be done for each costume individually; instead, you take a “basic costume” and upgrade it step by step. You can simply overlay the appearance of another costume on top of that.
But that’s not all – values on a costume remain active for only 30 days. After that, you have to “wash” the clothing, meaning you need to buy a piece of soap for 120 gold (or in the shop) to benefit from the values again.

Simultaneously, a special in-game event runs from now until March 8, where players can take on daily missions for the Nebelsangspitze and must complete them on easy or normal to snag additional rewards. If that’s not enough, players can now dive into the hard mode of the same instance – which has also been added with this patch.
From March 8 to March 22, this event will be replaced by a PvP event, encouraging players to engage in 1vs1 or 3vs3 arenas to receive more reward crates.
