The servers presented in advance by Early Access for Aion 2 are not enough. NCSoft had to add more. MeinMMO tells you what you need to know about the European worlds.

What EU servers are available? For the Early Access launch on September 30, 2026, NCSoft has provided a total of 8 European servers, 4 each for the Elyos and Asmodians factions. Two servers always form a pair that is interconnected. On the night of the Early Start, the developers added more worlds. Here is the current list:

Why the server pairs? In Aion 2, the Elyos and Asmodians play on separate servers. However, you have the chance to face the opposing faction through the space-time rifts or the battles in the Abyss. There, you will encounter players from the enemy faction who come from the server linked to yours. For example, if you play on Siel, you will encounter opponents from Israphel and so on.
According to NCSoft, these pairs are not set in stone forever. If it helps balance, the developers plan to make adjustments to the server pairs in the future.
On which servers are the big streamers? It seems that many streamers have focused on the server pairing of Siel/Israphel. Many creators participating in the streamer event are playing there.
Launch Servers, Matchmaking, Marketplace
What about the final release? A second wave of launch servers is expected to follow the official launch. Free-to-play players who want to start at global launch can freely choose between the Early Access and launch servers. However, if a server reaches a certain population density, it might happen that the developers restrict character creation there.
Are server transfers possible? The developers have expressed themselves on Steam:

If you are currently in the queue of an existing server or are just starting now, it is best to create your character on a recommended server.
Server transfers will be available no later than October 13, then you can switch between servers.
As a reminder: All instance content, including dungeons, is available across servers!
Note: Once we enable server transfers, we will implement restrictions to ensure that Early Access players can only switch between Early Access servers and not to the servers of the official launch.
In addition, server transfers will initially be free during this phase!
How does matchmaking work? In PvE, Aion relies on a region-internal but faction-crossing system.
- The so-called “Dungeon Party Matching” brings together players from all active servers of a region (for us: Europe). In early access, this means only the Early Access servers. From the global launch, players with founder packages will also encounter free-to-play players in the dungeons. Additionally, you can fight alongside the typically hostile faction in PvE.
- If you and your friends are playing on different servers, you can still add each other to your friends list and register as a group for a dungeon together.
How does the market work? Aion 2 is supposed to have two different markets through which you can trade with other players:
- Server market: Here you trade with players from your server. This market is already available for early access and trade is done with the currency Kinah. However, you can also obtain Kinah through the real-money premium currency Quna.
- Cross-server market: Here, players from all servers of a region (for us: Europe) come together to buy or sell. This market is neither available at early access nor directly at launch, but is expected to open at a later date. This way, the developers want to ensure that early access players do not negatively impact the economy of the launch servers.
Note that trading through the market will only be possible if you invest money in Aion 2’s optional monthly subscription.
