In “Deliver At All Costs”, the name says it all: Our deliveries must reach their destination, no matter what happens. The game will also be released on Steam.
What kind of game is it? “Deliver At All Costs” (PC, console) is a chaotic action game developed by Far Out Games and published by Konami. The game will be available on Steam and in the Epic Games Store as well as for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The setting is a small American town in the 1950s, in an era of rock ‘n’ roll and looming nuclear destruction. We take on the role of Winston Green – a courier with unusual methods and a mysterious past.
Our task as a courier is to complete highly unconventional deliveries. Will we leave half the city in ruins? Quite possibly.
You can watch the official reveal trailer for the game here:
Chaos and destruction wherever we go
What does the trailer show? From the isometric perspective, we control our delivery truck, which carries some unusual cargo in its bed. In the first gameplay scene, we transport a giant, living swordfish.
In “Deliver At All Costs”, streets are more of a suggestion than strict guidelines. Our delivery truck can easily crash through entire buildings. Hardly anything seems to be firmly anchored in the trailer. However, the town’s residents don’t just take everything; at some point, they fight back.
Besides the chaos we create, it also seems that the forces of nature aren’t very friendly towards us. At one point, a meteorite crashes, while another landslide turns our trip into hell. Apart from delivering by car, we can also explore the city on foot.
The developers promise a memorable story filled with puzzles and intrigue. Whether that fits with the rather silly gameplay will be revealed when the game is released. So far, Konami has not announced a release window for “Deliver At All Costs”.
We are currently confronted with increasingly bizarre games. Just a few days ago, an absurd hack ‘n’ slash was released that you must see for yourself to believe: “Who is the crazy genius behind it?” – Players celebrate the quirky concept of the new hack’n’slash on the PS5
