League of Legends receives some skins with almost every new patch. After the most well-known LoL pro Faker received an expensive skin as part of the Hall of Legends, another skin for a legendary player follows now.
Which LoL player is it about? The Chinese ADC Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao started his professional career in League of Legends back in 2012. In the following year 2013, he reached the finals of the World Championships with his team Royal Club. In the end, they had to give the victory to Faker and T1. In the same tournament, Uzi became famous for his main champion Vayne.
Although he has never won a World title, he was an extraordinary player and set a number of records that would only be broken years later by others. Uzi was the only player with over 2000 champion kills in all leagues until 2018 and was the first player to reach the milestones of 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, and 2500 kills in the professional league (via lol.fandom.com).
In 2020, he announced his retirement due to health issues with his wrist. After his retirement, he still played sporadically for other teams.
What skin will Uzi receive? With the new patch 25.12, which is set to be released on June 11, 2025, the “Hall of Legends” event will start (via halloflegends.leagueoflegends.com). Part of this event is the “Immortalized Kai’Sa” skin, which you can buy in all its glory in a bundle for a mere 58,865 RP or approximately 430 €.
Many users asked why it is not a skin for his main champion Vayne, under the Reddit and YouTube posts on the topic. For example, michaelsoria807 writes under the skin spotlight on YouTube:

Uzi is not the only player entering the Hall of Legends, his LoL colleague Faker was the first pro to receive a skin in 2024 that cost even a bit more. The Ahri skin from Faker was only available for a limited time, whether the same will be done with the Kai’Sa skin is unknown.

What other bundles are there? In addition to the large bundle for about 430 €, there are also other and cheaper offers. With patch 25.12, the next battle pass for League of Legends will also come. The so-called “Hall of Legends” pass costs 1,950 RP (about 16 €) and includes among other things the “Risen Legend Vayne” skin, 125 Mythic Essence, 11 loot boxes, the new battle pass, and other small items.
The next upgrade costs 5,035 RP (about 40 €) for the “Risen Legend Kai’Sa” skin and small extras. For 32,035 RP (about 240 €), you will receive the “Immortalized Kai’Sa” skin, but not the complete version, which you only get if the large bundle for 430 € is purchased.
How does the community react to the new skin? Already at the release of the expensive Faker skin for the champion Ahri, the players of LoL came together. Their plan was to constantly ban Ahri so that no one could play with the skin, in protest against Riot’s high price.
The comments on the new skin for Uzi are rather negative. The Reddit user lcm-is-prod-div-gcd writes the following under the post (via reddit.com):
It actually looks over-designed and bad. The Immortalized Ahri was also borderline, but landed on the right side. This here is just bulky and flashy. Maybe you should just rehire all the designers, lol.
