In Elden Ring: Nightreign it is all about the bosses. However, most players avoid one of them – for the simple reason that they cannot find the way, even though it can be seen from a distance.
Which boss is it about? You will predominantly find them in the middle of your map, unless you have activated shifted earth modifications: the castle, with all its secrets and its obvious boss, who causes havoc on the top level.
Over time, the circle in which players can move unharmed becomes smaller and often ends near the castle, so you inevitably get closer to it during the expedition, making it actually worthwhile towards the end. Meanwhile, the boss is always very visible on his tower – you would only have to reach him to snag the valuable loot and upgrades.
Nonetheless, many players avoid this boss, not because he isn’t generally worth it, but because the way to him is anything but easy and they do not want to invest the time. A player on Reddit now shows a simple trick that saves a lot of time and could possibly change that.
To the boss in under 1 minute
What trick does the player show? User Aphod shows in his thread on Reddit a way to not only easily get to the highest levels of the bug but also avoid a bunch of enemies that would otherwise waste valuable time.
In his video, he shows how you can easily climb up the walls and jump to reach the boss in under a minute without wasting time on small enemies.

To start your ascent, you need to run to the back of the castle where the gate is closed. Then look to the left, where you should see a pile of stones and climb through a broken wall into one of the higher floors.
There you won’t go further, but jump and reach for the ledge above you. Then keep climbing until you reach the corner to the west where you find another broken wall.
This also works in other places, for example at the ledge near the vendor. You will always find it in the same spot. You just have to climb to the east instead of to the west.

What does the community say about the trick? Fans under his post are grateful for his tip and admit that they have mostly avoided the boss so far because the way seemed too awkward and unclear or they simply did not find it:

Many also note that the castle is definitely worth it in general, as there is also a boss on the lower level that grants you access to guaranteed useful talismans. So you can hit two birds with one stone.
