At least, the website automaton-media.com reports that there has been a real rush to Nepalese restaurants in Japan since the release of Monster Hunter Wilds, to indulge in a proper portion of cheese naan. In some cases, restaurants have to stock up on supplies because normally that much cheese naan is not ordered.
One restaurant in Tokyo is even said to have thanked Capcom for the noticeable increase in sales figures. Furthermore, various posts about the cheese naan hype circulate on social media, such as a restaurant playfully celebrating the order of 99 cheese naan (via X).
