What do the theories refer to? On May 31, the 7 vs. Wild channel released a video in which the founder of the show, Fritz Meinecke, announced the new season of the survival YouTube show. In the announcement, Meinecke mentioned new game modes for the series, which he later defined more precisely as conditions.
The video announcement for the new season has already garnered almost 1 million views in less than a week and has sparked many new theories about the show’s concept. According to the announcement video on YouTube, this season is supposed to be “by far the toughest there ever was.”

Wild Theories from Fans: Pac-Man and Meinecke are the same person
What wild theories do the fans have? The fans of 7 vs. Wild have analyzed the announcement video down to the last detail to gather new clues about the 4th season.
At the beginning of the announcement video, there are a few shots of the forest. Visible is a fly agaric mushroom with a corner cut out, a military patch with the remains of a monkey, and Meinecke hitting birch wood 8 times.
For the fans, this is enough to come up with the following theory: The fly agaric is missing a corner just like Pac-Man, so Fritz Meinecke could be Pac-Man, hunting the 7 contestants as the 8th candidate. That would match the 8 hits on the wood. Whoever is found is history, and the patch could stand for that.
The whole concept could thus remind one of the survival show Manhunt, which has already had hints in the past. In particular, the YouTube veteran Commander Krieger had stated in a stream (via YouTube) that the missing participants would be shooting a new season of the series.
Is there something to the theories? In a video by YouTuber nykesname, he presents the theory. Apparently, Fritz Meinecke has also seen the video and the Pac-Man theory. In the comments to the video, he said: “Hahaha what? The Pac-Man theory is extremely wild. Did you snack on the fly agaric?”
There likely isn’t anything to the theory. The announcement of the 4th season already mentioned that there won’t be any further updates on the survival show for a while, as there is still work being done behind the scenes.
