When does Battlefield 6 come out? The release of Battlefield 6 is on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 5:00 PM. The game is already available as a preload.
The game will be released globally at the same time. Therefore, you won’t have an advantage if you take “vacation” in New Zealand. You can still only play at 5:00 PM German time.
On which platforms will Battlefield 6 be released?
Battlefield 6 will be released on all major platforms except Nintendo Switch, namely:
- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
- PC
- Steam
- Epic Games Store
- EA App
However, Battlefield 6 is not included in Xbox Game Pass.
How much does Battlefield 6 cost?
The Standard Edition costs 69.99 euros for PC and 79.99 euros for consoles.
The Phantom Edition costs 99.99 euros for PC and 109.99 euros for consoles.
How many maps are there?
At launch on October 10, there will be nine maps in Battlefield 6 in various sizes.
What game modes are there?
Battlefield 6 will have 8 different modes at release: Conquest, Breakthrough, Rush, Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination, King of the Hill, and Escalation.
You can play the different game modes with open or limited weapons. The latter means that some weapons are class-bound, such as assault rifles to assault soldiers.
How many weapons are there?
At release, Battlefield 6 will feature a total of 66 different weapons, including 41 primary weapons, 4 secondary weapons, and 10 throwables.
