The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series has received countless installments. Although it doesn’t have the most monsters, Explorers of Sky for the DS lands at 2nd place on this list. It has the best story, and the pixel DS graphics are still pretty today.
In Mystery Dungeon, you embark on a journey with up to 2 other Pokémon in dungeons and complete various floors to fulfill your mission. The Pokémon principle fits perfectly with this. Unlike most main games, Explorers of Sky is quite challenging, especially when it comes to the endgame.
You need to use items smartly, plan the movements of the enemies, and utilize your attacks effectively. Due to its tactical depth, we give Explorers of Sky the silver medal.
If you don’t want to rely on the used market, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX on the Switch is also worth it. The graphics are cute and the gameplay is convincing here too.
