What is less successful: Marvel’s Spider-Man offers a cool, large game world, but many of the NPCs are cloned and noticeably worse animated than the main protagonist. Additionally, there are some stealth segments that feel superficial and somewhat forced.
Who is Marvel’s Spider-Man worth it for? If you are a fan of Spider-Man and Co. or have always wanted to step into the shoes of a superhero, then you will likely have a lot of fun with this game. Especially the combat system and swinging through the streets are very enjoyable, which few other games offer in this form.

Persona 5 Royal Edition

What is Persona 5 Royal? In Persona 5, you dive into turn-based party battles with the male protagonist Joker in a parallel world. After the battles, you lead your life as a normal student, earn money, and get to know your friends better. After school, you hunt for the hearts of evil people. There are relatively loose time constraints that divide the game into days and semesters.
Why is Persona 5 Royal worth it: The Royal Edition represents the expanded version of the old PS3/PS4 game. And even the base game Persona 5 was characterized by its enormous scope. The Royal version significantly increases this: It expands the game by an additional semester and two new characters. You can easily spend an additional 20 to 30 hours. If you watch all the cutscenes, read texts, and engage in battles, you can easily clock over 100 hours with the game. Moreover, the replay value is further enhanced by the new semester and characters.
The Royal version also offers German subtitles and interface, unlike the “normal” Persona 5 version. The voice acting is still available in English or Japanese.
What is less successful? If you’re interested in the new features compared to the old game, you’ll have to buy the game because there is no upgrade option. It’s also disappointing that the Royal version still only offers either English or Japanese voice acting.

What is less successful: Despite its beauty and uniqueness, the game sometimes feels lifeless. This is because you can never enter the cities you deliver to. So, you will never see the people you support. Additionally, the beginning of the game is relatively slow, and you will only unlock the first real weapons after several hours.
Who is Death Stranding worth it for? This game is particularly suited for players who are interested in a unique combination of beautiful landscapes, open-world, post-apocalyptic mood, and special gameplay and are not primarily focused on combat.

At the end of April, Gearbox released new content for Borderlands 3 that you should definitely check out. Furthermore, the game will be regularly updated with additional content at least until September 2020.
What is less successful? Compared to its predecessor, Borderlands 3 offers few innovations. The game mechanics remain largely unchanged. The Mayhem mode is currently criticized but should improve in the coming weeks.

Hunt: Showdown
