What is it about? Wakana Gojo has a secret. He loves to make traditional Japanese dolls and secretly sews at school. The extremely popular Marin Kitagawa catches him doing this one day at school.
But instead of making fun of him, she enthusiastically asks him to help her with the outfits of her cosplays. She is completely unskilled in handling fabric. Through this collaboration, the two different teenagers slowly grow closer.
Why shouldn’t parents come in here? Actually, you are safe most of the time with this anime, and it wouldn’t be embarrassing if outsiders entered the room. But there are some moments where awkward situations arise, even though they start completely harmlessly.
One example is the moment when Wakana has to take Marin’s body measurements for a cosplay. She stands in a bikini in front of him, and you see in delightful close-up how he sweats while measuring her crotch and other body parts. Other situations, like the one in the love hotel with the succubus cosplay, should also be skipped quickly if you hear footsteps outside the door.
