What kind of game is this? Squad
Why is this an alternative to Wardogs? Squad is a hardcore shooter that focuses on realism and aims to simulate real combat. Unlike, for example, ARMA, in Squad you don’t have a huge sandbox, but instead engage in large-scale battles with clear objectives. You fight at designated control points and gradually reduce the enemy’s tickets to secure victory for your team.
In line with the realistic MilSim approach of the game, the weapon behavior is quite demanding, and communication is not just important but essential for coordination within the team and tactical execution. Each player has a specific role within their squad, and those who do not perform their duties properly or ignore their teammates on voice chat and play without a microphone can expect to be mercilessly kicked from the server.
Another important feature of the shooter is the well-implemented sound, which contributes to the overall immersive gaming experience.
However, in Squad, you will not be playing “King of the Hill” matches, and there is no cash system comparable to Wardogs.
