In spring 2024, a conflict between streamers AnniTheDuck and Mowky shook the German Twitch and sparked a wave of accusations and revelations. Nearly two years later, opinion blogger Jay Riddle questions the narrative of events at that time.
What was it with the 2.50 euros? In spring 2024, a wave of revelations hit German Twitch, during which serious accusations were made against well-known content creators AnniTheDuck and Simon Unge. The whole thing was triggered by an anonymous donation in the chat of the streamer Mowky.

The internet showed overwhelming solidarity with Mowky at the time. AnniTheDuck, who at that time was one of the biggest streamers on German Twitch, lost valuable partnerships and had to effectively end her career.
Although AnniTheDuck made several comeback attempts, she steadily lost followers during her last streams on Twitch. Since mid-December 2025, she had not gone live. On October 31, 2025, the streamer released the song “Vulture” under the name Nysa, along with a corresponding video. A series of “Behind the Scenes” videos followed on her old YouTube channel, after which it went quiet again around AnniTheDuck.
Opinion blogger questions Mowky’s version
Here’s the twist: Opinion blogger Jay Riddle announced a series of major revelation videos over the Easter weekend, which he has been working on since last year. The first video was released on April 4, 2026, on his YouTube channel and revisits the topic around AnniTheDuck and Mowky.
In the nearly 2.5-hour long video, Jay Riddle essentially discusses two points:
- The meeting of a group of friends around Mowky and AnniTheDuck, during which Mowky is said to have lost her composure and thrown a chair at someone. The streamer had denied the “chair throw” at that time. Jay Riddle, however, questions her version of the incident. He scrutinizes the “eyewitness accounts” of those present, shows chat logs, and provides his own reports.
- Mowky’s handling of alleged mental illnesses, particularly an alleged paranoid schizophrenia. According to Jay Riddle, there are inconsistencies in how the streamer talks about her diagnoses and required medications.
The opinion blogger also criticizes other internet personalities, including the well-known CDU destroyer Rezo as well as streamers JenNyan and Milschbaum. He also claims to have an “Excel document of horrors” and more material for at least 3 videos on the topic.

What do the involved parties say? So far, not much. As of April 7, 2026, at 2:30 PM, we could not find any public statements from Mowky. Anni The Duck had only stated in a now-expired Instagram story that she had seen the video.
JenNyan stated in a stream on April 5 that she did not want to make a statement.
However, that hasn’t stopped others from discussing the topic actively, both on X, in the comments on YouTube, or in the streaming subreddit “Laesterschwestern”. The reactions have been rather mixed so far. While many viewers and other influencers took a clear stance back then, the reactions now seem more subdued.
Rather than a clear shift in sentiment against Mowky, viewers now seem to believe that no one has come out of this situation with any glory. Jay Riddle also faces criticism for his excessive use of AI in the video.
Others, however, find it difficult to understand why the topic is being revived almost two years later.
Whether the video will create a similar stir as the 2.50 euros did back then remains to be seen. However, it can be expected that it will at least lead to some statements.
The other major topic currently occupying German Twitch is the issue surrounding the streamer HoneyPuu.
