In EA FC 25, gameplay often leads to frustration due to various issues. Two experts have found the solution to a major problem and suddenly experienced more fun in the game.
Who are these experts? Tim “Latka” Schwartmann and Simon “GamerBrother” Schildgen are well-known content creators for EA FC. While Tim Latka impresses mainly with very strong gameplay, GamerBrother focuses on entertainment for FC 25.
Latka plays in the Rivals in the Elite Division and regularly achieves top placements in the Weekend League. But GamerBrother, as a Division 1 and rank 3/4 player in the Weekend League, does not need to hide his performances either.
Independently, both players noticed a characteristic of their players over the weekend that solves a tedious problem in FC 25.
What has been the problem so far? The dedicated player of FC 25 has likely already identified a significant issue among several deficiencies. Passes, whether short or long, flat or high, are simply too inconsistent to create goal-scoring opportunities with great combinations. It hardly makes a difference whether your player has strong or less good passing stats.
The only exception is players who possess one or more of the total 5 Pass PlayStyles, which enhance the various passes. These include:
- Decisive Pass: greater accuracy with through balls
- Interface Pass: greater accuracy with pressure passes
- Further Pass: greater accuracy with high crosses
- Hard Pass: greater accuracy with crosses
Additionally, there is the PlayStyle “Tiki-Taka,” which the experts had a lot of fun with over the weekend.
Tiki-Taka creates great passing combinations and fun in the game
Why is Tiki-Taka so much fun? According to former eSports player Tim Latka, Tiki-Taka allows for playing beautiful combination football in the offense once again.
This also allows for trying formations that were hardly playable due to the very centrally-focused AI defense in EA FC. Latka demonstrates this with his 4-1-2-1-2 tactic. How he can score “awesome goals like in the good old days” with the formation and Tiki-Taka can be seen here:
According to Latka, the Tiki-Taka PlayStyle also brings another advantage. With this playstyle, the normal PlayStyle in silver has a significant impact. There are also some PlayStyles that are only truly worthwhile in gold, as a +-variant.
Creator colleague GamerBrother takes it a step further in his team rating for his last Weekend League on YouTube. For him, Tiki-Taka is the best PlayStyle in EA FC.
In his team for the Weekend League, 4 of his 6 offensive players had the Tiki-Taka PlayStyle. The content creator summarizes his experience with the following conclusion: “You could play such awesome passing combinations.”
