When a new game for Pokémon is released, it causes a state of emergency. After all, behind the cute pocket monsters is one of the most successful brands in the world, with millions of fans. Pokémon Legends: Z-A, however, aims not only to rest on old strengths but to bring fresh wind into Pokémon collecting.
In marketing terms, this sounds as follows: “Experience the classic gameplay with modern twists that will enrich your Pokémon RPG experience.” One of the most important innovations is the switch to real-time battles. You will therefore need to pay attention to your timing when switching or assess the ideal timing of attacks.
Also exciting is the city setting, where peaceful urban structures line up against dangerous wilderness sectors. There is even a day-night cycle that is supposed to influence gameplay. Moreover, it’s your task, as is typical for the series, to make a name for yourself in the local tournament.
