Cazador

In the third act of the game, you encounter Astarion’s old master, the vampire lord Cazador. The fight against Cazador offers many opportunities to gain an advantage through the spell daylight and general radiant attacks.
The difficulty of the fight lies in his sacrifice. Most players will likely face this battle with Astarion in the group, as it will be an important moment for the companion.
Cazador uses his entire vampire brood (including Astarion) for the ritual, which the group wants to stop. However, this must happen in the first two rounds of the fight; otherwise, Astarion is irrevocably lost. In Honor mode, Cazador also has the ability “Vampire Swarm,” which summons a swarm of bats that deals 8d12 energy damage. Cazador’s minions in the form of other vampires, werewolves, and bats, as well as the power of the vampire lord himself, should not be underestimated.
