Curse of the Soundtrack / Narrator
You are currently on a secret mission and may need to infiltrate a palace? The perfect time for this curse. It brings your background soundtrack into the game. Everywhere you go, you are effectively accompanied by an invisible orchestra.
What can be quite funny and advantageous for a bard can prove to be quite a hindrance in other situations. Nevertheless, the curse encourages the group to get creative and has led to some running gags for us.
Alternatively, you can also create a sound for certain actions. For example: Every time a character attacks or moves, a specific sound is heard. This can range from dog barks to funny cartoon sounds. Whatever delights your heart.
Another variation of this curse is that everything the dungeon master tells about the situation becomes audible in the game world, or that a player becomes the group’s narrator and must comment on everything the group does.
Curse of Lyricism
This curse turns you into a true poet. Here you can vary whether your cursed character may only speak in rhymes or verses or if it applies to specific situations. Or do you have a musically inclined player with you? Then let them sing their conversations for a while – it makes every shopping trip a special experience.
Alternatively, you can also take the “Bibi Blocksberg” variant and let the affected character recite a rhyme every time they cast a spell.
